Feb 1    Cardstravaganza!
Adults: let's get crafty! We will be making cards appropriate for Valentine’s Day or other card-giving occasions. Supplies and instruction will be provided for at least three card styles. Feb 3    Breakfast - Taylor Lodge #98
All you can eat breakfast includes: biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, fruit cocktail, grits, pancakes (regular or blueberry), french toast, milk, orange juice, coffee or water. Donations raised at the breakfast go to the following activities: WCHS Scholarships, Eureka HS Scholarship (started by Wm. C. Hobbs lodge), IL Child Identification program supplies, Illinois Masonic Academic Bowl team sponsorship, Eagle Scout recognition items, Masonic Widow fruit baskets (for lodge widows), Masonic Youth Groups (DeMolay, Rainbow Girls, Job's Daughters), Non-Masonic Youth Group team sponsorship, Shriner Children Hospitals, IL Masonic Children Assistance Program, & Community events (Fall cookout, Easter Egg hunt that is open to the public).

Please join Washington Boy Scout Troop 163 for a Chili Supper of homemade chili cooked and served by the Scouts, complete with all the "fixin's", desserts and beverages. A vegetarian and a traditional mild recipe chili will be offered.

As a part of our business strategy sessions, the Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a "Social Media" brown bag lunch and learn session.  So bring your own lunch and be ready for an interactive brush up on using social media to promote your business. Feb 20    WCHS Bands Patron Night at Vito's
A fundraiser for the WCHS Band Boosters.  Vito's will donate 15% of food sales (excluding alcohol) to the Boosters for all customers that provide a paper copy (click the website link) to their servers. Enjoy Vito's food and support our student musicians! This is Vito's first fundraiser under new local ownership. Be sure and thank them for their support. One hundred percent of the proceed from the fundraiser will be used to support the WCHS bands.

Feb 21    Washington Middle School Open House
On February 21, WMS is having their school open house. Students get to show parents and family around the school. During this event, there will be a fundraiser organized by members of the National Junior Honor Society for the Washington Fire Department. We will be raffling off gift baskets with the themes of movie night, art supplies, candy, and sports. Additionally, we will be raffling off a Washington Panthers quilt with two Good Neighbor Day carnival armband vouchers ($25 dollar value each) donated by the Washington Chamber of Commerce. We hope to see you there!

Join the Washington Chamber of Commerce for its annual dinner/meeting that includes a review of the past year and a look ahead to the new year, along with the presentation of the annual Washingtonian award to a deserving resident of Washington. Business awards are also presented for Outstanding Business and Business Beautification. The Chamber also honors a Volunteer of the Year to someone who has excelled at being a volunteer for the Chamber and its activities.
